The Greatest Inhibitor to success: Fear
Have you ever wanted to try something new but let your fear hold you back? It is a very common problem that most people have: letting fear dictate decisions. In this episode of The Motivational Intelligence Podcast, David Naylor and Sean Johnson discuss fear and the impact it can have on both personal and professional aspects of life.
The fact of the matter is that a lot of us are uncomfortable with feeling uncomfortable, but the thing is, we can use that fear to help motivate and drive us. Just because something scares us, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try. It is when we are scared that we learn/grow the most. Studies and research show that the only two fears we are really born with are the fear of loud noises and a fear of falling from tall heights. Everything else that we fear comes from our surroundings- either things we have experienced or heard. So it is actually never too late to conquer any fear you may have developed in your life.
We can conquer any fear we may have, if we want something bad enough. Fears never really truly go away- but if we know how to work with them and use them to our advantage, then they will no longer be this huge obstacle that seems impossible to overcome. Learn all about this and more on our episode of the Motivational Intelligence Podcast- “The Greatest Inhibitor of Success: Fear”.
