Millennials vs. The World
Chances are you’ve heard about the never ending discussion surrounding millennials: they are different than other generations, and depending on who you ask, this is either a good thing or a bad thing. Millennials make up the majority of today’s workplace, and people from other generations have a hard time understanding how to treat them and what they need. On this week’s episode of The Motivational Intelligence Podcast, Sean Johnson and David Naylor discuss millennials and the impact they have on the world, and more specifically, the workplace. They touch on a lot of major points such as what really makes millennials different, how they got that way, and how they’re doing what no other generation has done when it comes to their roles in the workplace. Sean and Dave also discuss why being a millennial is actually more productive and innovative than most people think, but they also dive into why millennials are viewed so negatively sometimes. No matter what you believe, no one can deny facts, and statistics show that millennials make up a very large majority of the workforce, and the turnover they cause can cost companies up to $550 billion a year. So the more people in the workplace can understand millennials and how to work with them, the better off they will be! Interested in learning more on this prevalent topic?
