Riveting and spectacular... once you start this book, you won't put it down. You will find yourself nodding in agreement and smiling at the gravity of the power of inner thoughts and beliefs to create the outcomes you are seeking. Sounds cliche? Not to me. Sometimes the purest intentions are the hardest to maintain consistently because of those nagging inner beliefs that erode our sense of self-confidence prohibiting us to become far more than we ever imagined. Over the years I have read many books on personal growth and sales. Unlike other sales training books Swagger hits on the WHY rather than the HOW of sales. After reading the great story's and working through Gianni's exercises I have transformed my limiting mindsets into powerful thoughts and actions to accomplish my goals not only in sales but in what I want form my life. Swagger is a terrific book that lays out a formula for sales success as well as success in any endeavor in life--professional or personal. It's comprehensiveness is matched by its wonderful simplicity. Anyone that believes that she was born with unlimited potential and commits to the actions and reflection steps in this book is almost guaranteed success in life. Joe Gianni does a masterful job weaving in real stories from his early days as a developing salesman in a very competitive industry. He does this in such a way that you feel like you are right there with him and his mentor, Randy--learning, reflecting and charting a course for success! I have read my fair share of business books and Swagger is one of my favorites. I like Joe's straightforward writing style and practical advice. The thing - and it's not a small thing - that sets this book apart is that it addresses sales not from the traditional process POV, but rather focuses on mindset and core beliefs, both crucial in determining our behaviors and ultimately our results.

I read this book through the first time without highlighting just to absorb the lessons. I'm now reading it again to extract the lessons and begin to apply them.

So much more than a sales tip book...a step by step approach to a powerful life!
